Just be advised that if you are coming from out of state, do not book with them; use their walk-in policy. Any money deposited will not be refunded when you book with them in advance. The policy states: that you can use deposited money for a later date. However, let's be honest, what's the likelihood of traveling back to Monterey, CA. I know weather/safety decisions when it comes to airborne operations. I was a Paratrooper in the U.S. Army. I don't understand why I should have to pay based on your decision. I know that if I said, "I don't want to jump," I would have forfeited my deposit. But it is you that has scratched the jump. Therefore, you have to forfeit my deposit and should reimburse me. All of my travel expenses were based on this one event. I'm not here to down-talk the company. However, Skydive Monterey Bay should reconsider future out-of-state visitors planning for this event. This is jeopardizing the company's reputation—the encouragement of deposit without a refund based on the decisions that you have made is disappointing.

I did my fourth jump over here at 18k feet. Nice and longer free fall. People who works here make the experience nicely and fun, very professional staff. I'll be back soon to learn more about how to jump alone next time. Highly recommend 👍🏼

What a great idea R. See! Well, you heard right. :-). We're here every day and year-round. We recommend making a reservation in order to get the best rate however, walk-ins are also welcome. Hello Michael, Thanks so much for reaching out! Participants must be 18 years of age or older to make a tandem skydive in the United States. We often skydive with 18 year olds on their 18th Birthday from 18,000 ft🛫🌊🤣 It is such an epic rite of passage experience jumping over Coastal California for the first time. And 18 year olds always seem to bring the BEST ENERGY! We require a Tandem with our Dropzone within the last 12 months. If you would like to proceed with the Accelerated Free Fall course that would be step #1. Afterwards we can follow-up with more information.
