The Staff at the Klamath Animal Shelter does everything possible to encourage the public to adopt their Shelter Pets. Nothing would be better than to reduce the ridiculous numbers of pets ending up in their care! A No-Kill Shelter is only possible when the facility has unlimited space, funds for food & medical care, funds to hire staff to care for the ever increasing numbers coming in their front door. Plus it's a very sad fact that some of the pets are not adoptable due to their previous owners treatment and/or neglect. Society, even in 2018, is still not on board with Spaying/Neutering their pets... So the Shelters will always be over full...
Actually, they do. It's a cat shelter tho...
I heard it is a kill shelter. So from what I heard yes they kill the pets. It's stupid and its wrong. But unfortantly that's how the world is.
