Thank y'all, I'm an Air Force veteran so I'm sure that I would have to show a copy of my DD214, right? I have physical/hard copies and I also have a few pics of it on my phone. One of the pics has my SSN marked through because I'm not going to let every company that asks for the pic to see my social security number. I've never thought about bringing my DD214 with me when I get my license renewed

Geoffrey, you can get your Veterans designation on your LA driver's license. Just bring your DD214 with you when you renew your license. It is typically recognized wherever Veterans discounts are offered, e.g., Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.
