@U2 Moi, Sir, I am not affiliated with Sacramento forklift but from my experience in the military one day is not enough if you are freshly learning how to operate a forklift. You might learn the basic of operation but it is up to the operator to pay full attention to his surroundings, task at hand, weight of the load, height of the storage, and distance to travel. There are many things to consider even though people tend to think that operating a forklift is a mindless repetition it is not. You also have to account the quality of forklift you are using, is it maintained well? does it have any niche'? When was the last maintenance completed? what type of fuel is used? what terrain or setting your forklift is best used? Going to a 1 day class might answer some of it, but it is still up to the operator to take precaution and learn from experience. I hope this helps.
$1000 to get certified, that’s so expensive. I thought it was cheaper than that from what I have heard. I also did some research and others charge less than your business. Is one day training going to be enough to teach me how to operate a forklift safely??? I am new to this so I want to make sure I will have the right training.
