Long term parking is available at JFK airport. Just make sure to arrive a little earlier so you can find a good spot (which I usually do). The tram, from there to the terminal, runs quite often and it is free when you're using the "long term parking" lot. EZ pass is accepted for payment upon check out of the parking facility. Keeping our car there for the week we were away was reasonable.

JFK do have long term parking available for folks who are flying out. When you exit the parking lot, there are shuttle buses to the departure hall, and vice versa upon return. So it is quite convient, but I am not sure what they charge.
