Cancer Fighters and the Hope Team are 2 different groups. Volunteers are needed to take the cart throughout the hospital and provide for the patients and caregivers. Larry Atkinson is the volunteer coordinator and an application to volunteer can be found on the CTCA website.
Yes, kind of. They have a group called the Cancer Fighters, that are volunteers. They help during treatment to keep you comfortable. Blankets, water, juice, snacks, books, and other things. Very nice to have around!
