Does anyone know of they do out of state inspections? I just moved from N.C and my registration expires soon, I would get NJ registration but because my vehicle is titled in N.C it takes 30 days for NJ to receive my title and I dont have enough time.

North Carolina does require emissions and safety inspection and can be completed anywhere out of state that meets the U.S. Environmental Agency's requirements, I just need a place that is willing to do it. I've gone to 4 places already and they look at me like it's illegal or something

I'm not sure. Each state has its own requirements as far as emissions, etc. New Jersey doesn't do emissions testing anymore but North Carolina might. You can check the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission website, and see if you're a question can be answered properly.
