As I understand they will work with you in any way they can.
I have poor credit due to student loans. I had a trade-in worth $400 and $2500 down. Got me a really nice, reliable vehicle at a reasonable cost with a lower interest rate than I'm used to, considering my credit score. I highly recommend Auto Advantage. They work with poor credit and you get a vehicle that has only ever had 1 owner. Just ask for Theo. He's great.
I don't think I've ever been asked to put down any more than I had planned to (and yes, my credit fluctuates too). Your credit score will affect your terms, but in my experience with Auto Advantage in buying (multiple times) has been that they can get you a better rate than your own bank most of the time.
For my situation my neice has the credit i dont so the car is in her name but i have a good driving record and she doesnt so insurance is in my name but they will be honest wuth u and they did find us a bank that would give us a loan with reasonable payments. They have many people they work with to get u a loan
Go anywhere but Auto Advantage. What an unethical car lot.
