I have a 2011 KIA Sorento, my problem is that the airbag light is on, is this a common problem and is it a KIA recall to have it sorted out?

Take it in and they can tell you what the problem is.

Kia recalls should be listed somewhere online for your specific vehicle or give the dealer your VIN number, they can let you know via phone call if there was a recall. Good luck.

It depends on the code. There's is an Extended warranty type TSB for certain Airbag Light codes. But they can not find out until the vehicle is brought in to be looked at.
