As long as the felony is not for child abuse, drugs, domestic or murder, it's fine. I am on housing assistance but through the VA. Find me on messenger if need be. Best of luck to you.

My friend is in monroe county jail and hes going to need housing and I do not know how to navigate the system. Does anyone know of advocates or someone who can help him navigate the system. I have a recovery peer specialist here in luzerne county and she helps with all my needs. Is there someone in monroe county that can help him navigate the system and support him. He lived at his moms house his entire life and when he went into to jail in july his brother contacted area of aging and made false allegations of him misusing his moms money. The brother has done this 2 other times and everytime area of aging found the allegations to be false and closed the case now area of aging without reason is saying he cannot go back to his parents now I'm not sure if its just until the new investigation is complete or if it is permanent. I know for a fact he did nothing wrong but can anyone help me get him an advocate to help fight area of aging for these false allegations and get him back with his m

I'm not sure you have to call the Housing Authority people and ask them that question.
