Generally animals after owners pass can be taken care of and provided for with legal documentation. A transfer of owner ship if anything were to happen and where the funds are left at. Either clinics who hold credits on accounts, or funds at a financial institution that can be accessed during any care or treatments needed when proof of veterinary expenses arise. You can ask for certain stipends to be met or not exceeded... but it's all based on an individual basis and with people willing to assume care. Animals are property in the state of Florida. So to avoid someone getting rid of the animals to have the finances for themselves or someone euthanizing when not needed. This is a type of document that is best received when notarized and made official. Hope this helps.
I would ask a local veterinarian
