Was told by manager that this month they are only selling spicy chicken tenders, and no regular, as a sort of forced "promotion." Has anyone else experienced this, or heard of it?

You verified they were store manager? If so, then they have an overstock of spicy that's coming of age. I don't recall them being that spicy especially dipped in sauce. Particularly a creamy sauce

Yes, Chick-fil-A only sells "spicy chicken tenders". They changed this a few months ago. The nuggets are still regular.
