The trolleys were all made before ADA laws and even if the platform was used it would be difficult even with the Museums newer PCC cars. Some lines that still run PCCs in revenue service do have a special ramp that can be lowered into car that will give wheeled access but I dont recall seeing one at the museum. However, they do have nice static displays inside the barn that are accessible by chair. The theater likely has a place for chairs as well. I would call and double check though and they always seem to have special events going on.
Nope...ask ahead of time
I dont think so, we tried last year with my mom, they told us no
Unfortunately wheelchairs are not accessible into the Trolleys. The Trolleys stays true to their authenticity so we can’t alter the Trolleys but hope to have a ramp at some point that will allow wheelchairs to fit into some Of the Trolleys.
Yesterday I visited Shelburne Mass trolley museum, rolled my wheelchair up the ramp. I couldn't access the passenger area (door too narrow) but sat in the baggage area with the side door wide open. Short trip and very slow, but quite enjoyable.
