A fun trip through the woods on an open trolley and trolley cars inside to tour. Plus a fire truck museum for good measure.

We still have it as far as I know, but the fire museum side handles that stuff.
Every Friday and Saturday in October
The trolleys were all made before ADA laws and even if the platform was used it would be difficult even with the Museums newer PCC cars. Some lines that still run PCCs in revenue service do have a special ramp that can be lowered into car that will give wheeled access but I dont recall seeing one at the museum. However, they do have nice static displays inside the barn that are accessible by chair. The theater likely has a place for chairs as well. I would call and double check though and they always seem to have special events going on.
If you live in CT and reserve tickets the day before, free til end of summer. Otherwise it's roughly $10 per person, free under 2 years old.
Yes, it's Exit 45 off I-91
Most of the trolleys are kept inside the barns die to their age, but most days at least one or two are running on the museums tracks. Admission is free for the summer for CT residents, but normally there is a small entrance fee. Many libraries have free admission passes through, so thats worth looking into as well.
No we won’t open for the season until April 18th
I,m not sure I only when there once
Better in the sun but rain won't spoil the experience. The real fun is the trolley ride and museum which are not in the rain
I am not officially sure but I know there is lots of room for them.
Admission Tickets can only be purchased at the trolley museum and are good only on the night purchased. There are no advanced tickets sales for groups or individuals.
Children (under 4) • Free Children (4-12) • $7 Adults • $10 Seniors (62+) • $9 Unlimited rides all day, access to trolley museum and fire fighter museum
This time of year they are only open in the evening. I do not see anything anywhere about them closing due to the storm, however it may be best to call. -these questions are not typically seen by the businesses
It depends on what day you go and what time you get there. I have never waited more 15 minutes.
