What do you need to do to get new plates because plates are faded

Just take them in and registration licence

You going to have to reinstate in the plates

I would suggest going online or calling to see what documents you need prior to turning in your old plates. It is a transfer so you would have to return the plate first to the RMV before they issue you a new one. Hope this helps.
