I brought in forms requsted for Medicaid app on June 4th ,, they said 48 hours and I would hear ,,, but nothing in a week, Should I make an appt ?? or expect a call ... I'm handcapped so I have to get a ride and come in a wheelchair.

If you go to the Pawtucket DHS office, they will be able to assist you right away. I suggest going personally because otherwise your application will be handled within 30days. There is no way they can flag an emergency request for SNAP unless you go in person.

sorry Sarah Vega ,, I hit the wrong button ,, I just need to know about Medicaid for going into a nursing home ,, don't need a rush for SNAP yet ,, should I make an appt ?? at DHS the other day they said i couldn't talk to anyone ,, only drop off forms , thanks
