If I hirs a car from Hertz at Logan airport is it possible from me to drop it off at Providence , Rhode Island. If not What locations in the vicinity of Boston is it possible to drop the car off at. Do the cars come with GPS?

You should be able to. I picked up car in BOS and returned it in Norfolk, VA. You pay extra for GPS.
