Yes they can scan them off your phone. I have been to events outside elsewhere where the sun was so bright that they had difficulty getting the machine to scan it though.

They have the ability to scan, however, some ticket resellers insist that you print the tickets on paper. So beware!
Ticket people seemed pretty tech savvy, although we walked up to buy tickets.
The tickets say they need to be printed but I saw phones being scanned. Personally, I didn't risk having an issue.
It should tell you where you paid for the tickets vif you need to print or not. Check the website
Not sure if there that savvy there it's a pretty old Stadium I'd print them out to be safe have fun.
