Liberate Medical Marijuana Physician Centers SWFL (Owner) There are 2 important timelines to keep track of. The 1st is the State Medical Marijuana Card. This card is issued by the state and allows you to possess medical marijuana products and is good for 1 year. The State of Florida charges $75 per year for this card. The 2nd timeline is the physician certification / recommendation. This (along with the State Card) allows you to purchase medical marijuana products in the State of Florida. Currently, the State Law of Florida imposes a maximum of 210 days (seven months) between physician visits to keep your recommendation / certification for medical cannabis. In most cases our office provide the maximum (210 day) certification to our patients.
