Yes the fishing ain't too back. Mostly small catfish. It's actually better at city lake park. In Mesquite just off Galloway. Have fun and don't forget your fishing license

The Creek is annually stocked and lots of fishing happens but I don't know the catch rate.

I see people fish, I don't know if they actually catch anything... but, it's beautiful there.

It is a good place to fish....I didn't do, but my g-baby and I saw plenty out there. Also there were others doing it as well.

I see fishing all the time there but I've never done it so I can't be sure, I'm told that fish is caught but I would not think it's alot, the ducks and birds probably eat most. Let me know how it goes if you try it.

Mesquite City Lake Park has nothing biting right now. I've been trying to catch fish there for the last 3 months with different baits and had no luck. Even using a cast net does not yield any if not nothing at all.
