Thank you both so much for answering. Not knowing was really bugging me. Just so you know, somewhere around 1989 or 90 I think, my mom came to visit me on campus. Before I took her to the airport, I wanted to show her this awesome Museum which I had found (in the location in Dickinson Hall.) But the museum was closed, and we were so disappointed. Then someone happened to be inside and saw us. He told us that it was closed and when it would reopen, but when we said that she was on her way to the airport, he actually invited us in, and gave us a personal private tour! My mom still brings this up periodically to this day, and it was an incredibly nice and special experience. I don't know his name or who he was, and he was much older than me at the time, an average professor's age. So I have no idea if he's still there or not. If that story rings a bell to anyone there reading this, all these years later I am still ever grateful! Thank you so much!
We moved our public exhibits to Powell Hall in UF's Cultural Plaza in 1998 but we still use Dickinson Hall as our Research & Collections home. Same museum :-)
I remember that one! This one is different but very nice
