When a restaurant is fully booked up, they will have seats that are empty. This is because they are waiting on those people who made a reservation to arrive at the time they specified. No one is judging you. This is how reservations work. There are restaurants that are fully booked for months in advance, not a single walk in can be sat. Is that judgemental? No, supply and demand are working towards balance. If a hostess tells you that they are booked, it's because they are booked, if they didn't take as many customers as possible they wouldn't be making as much money as possible. It's simple economics. They didn't have a seat for you, I suggest you make a reservation if you intend on dining in a popular restaurant at peak times.
Reservations are HIGHLY recommended!
Depends on the day, some days they are really slammed!! I normally make reservations. Never had an issue with them..
I got turned away. It felt as if we were judged. A family if three git seated right in front of us and we were told they were fully reserved and had no space except the bar...the restaurant was half empty. Ill never go back...had it nit been for my son being there i would have raised hell.
When you are a tiny restaurant. The accept walking if you will wait or if they have space. But most people make a reservation because they are usually full.
Make reservations. I always di and always sit in less than 5 minutrs
I believe you can walk up anytime but you'll have to wait to be sitted.
