well behaved pets that do not present a nuisance or danger to others are all welcome. 6 foot leash is the primary requirement. This is a heavy activity black bear and hawk park. Bears and dogs do not mix. Keeping your animal on the 6ft lead thru-out the park is for the safety of the pet. Bears do periodically appear in the main use area even during times of high traffic.
Must be leashed and not permitted in the spring area.
No restrictions on the breed of dog. While I was there I saw rottweilers, pittbulls, German Shepard, chihuahuas, pug, mountain sheep dog and a Yorkie. They must be on a maximum of 6 ft leash at all times and are not allowed down by the springs.
There are restrictions of dogs period down at the springs. There's a sign that states no dogs beyond this point and it shows the sign and a dog on a leash. That said there were still dogs we saw right at spring a pitty that was es dog and another small dog that was barking and he was made to go back to where he was supposed to be. That's how I can answer your question. If your camping there dogs are allowed on a 6 ft leash. There were no restrictions I saw on the website that listed types of dogs. Hope this helps you. It was a beautiful spring and we had a wonderful time 😃 Dogs are allowed on leash in areas allowed.
Check the local state park restrictions not sure if anything is
As far as I know, there were no restrictions other than keeping your dog(s) leashed.
they just need to be leashed & friendly (at least that's the only sign I saw about them)
