It is a beautiful place to canoe, kayak or walk the paths. I have seen small herd of deer and small flock of turkeys. Plus you are convenient to places to lunch. Also check out Wekiva Island website
We go all the time. When we want to walk, or swim. We meet with the family there for cookouts and birthdays.
