If it is hot or humid, then yes. That said, I walked the main trail and only had to deal with a couple. It was about 70 degrees outside and there was a breeze. If you keep moving they're not a problem.

Look it's swamp, first, prime time for mosquitoes is mornings and at sunset with the in the evening throughout until the next morning is is sporadic. the temperature does have an effect on them however Florida temperatures fluctuate between 85 and 65 throughout the winter therefore at the warmer temperatures starting around 72 you will see an increase of mosquitoes
