As soon as you get off the train walk down Verdugo St. and make a left on Cmino Capistrano and you will see the cross walk that takes straight to the mission. I would use walking navigation as soon as you get off the train.
The train station is a short 5 minute walk from Mission San Juan Capistrano, about 0.1 mile away from the entrance.
The train station is not far away from the from the mission. I would say it's about half a mile away. And I believe there are trolleys that are free. They run right by the station and they bring you to the mission.
