I know someone who worked in Florida & moved to NJ at the time W-2's were being sent out. This person was not able to file their 2016 taxes because they could not get access to their 2016 W2's. How can this person get their 2016 W2's?

IRS.gov. Search transcripts and selected wage and income for the desired year

Call! The IRS and ask them to send you the transcripts for 2016... And they will then you can file 2016... I asked them to send me the 2015 because I didn't get the w2..... This worked for me it might work for you! ;)
