Yes. It’s always been $2 for at least the last 10 years. It’s posted and they expect you to pay in the shop on an honor system. It’s a courtesy fee since their dock is not maintained by public funds. Free pier fishing at bridge street pier along with a whole lot of other free public people who can’t afford the $2 at Rod n Reel but can afford the bait and tackle to fish. Enjoy!!

We fished there a few times and nobody mentioned it. This past weekend, a young guy came out and asked for $2- per person. I asked if that was posted anywhere and he said there's a little sign on the building. We left. There are plenty of free places around here😀

I didn't see a sign for a fee. . You can buy bait and I assume you might grab a beer or two while you are there. 😊
