There are clowns on display in pictures and statues, however I did not see any live or moving clowns. I don't believe it would be scary but use your discretion. It is truly an amazing place to visit!
The focus of the museum is to tell the history of the circus. How they would come to town the setup what it took to keep the circus going . All the different tents that would be set up for the people that would perform at the circus. On display was also the train that would take the circus to town. Was very informative with lots of History very colorful. A couple of clown statues with a plaque describing who that clown was and what their history was. Not overwhelmed with clowns at all.
Not really. There are masks, make-up and videos/mannequins but no live ones. Apart from that, the place is great even for a circus-hating grumpy old man like myself. A walk around the gardens and art gallery are a must.
No we did not see any live clowns. We saw their makeup and some videos. But as I said not the actual clowns.
