I have a 2005 Chevy Colorado with a check engine light on. Are you guys able to look at that?

Sure Rick, we do that kind of diagnostic work, and we can usually squeeze it in the following day. Three quick questions, is the light on steady or is it blinking, did you recently get gas, is the truck performing ok? If the light is blinking, stop driving the truck - you're damaging your catalytic converter. If the light is on steady, you can drive it safely. Secondly, if you just got gas, is the gas cap tight? If the cap is loose (about 20% of all check engine lights), tighten the cap, drive the truck and wait 2 days for the light to cycle off. If the light remains on, drop off your truck and we'll diagnose it for you. Give me a call and let me know.
