Campsites that are occupied have a white paper attached to a wooden Post in front of each site. whichever site does not have a white paper you can choose from and you remember the number go back to the front there is a wooden check-in station and grab a paper write down the information it asks for including the site number that you chose and the payment goes into an envelope and you drop it into a drop box. John the manager is there in the mornings early and he'll be walking around in a ranger uniform he's very friendly and you'll know it's him because everybody's talking to to him.
Lots of trees but cannot confirm you could sling hammock between them. You self check-in so hours not really important
Im not sure one can sling a hammock as the trees arent all that sturdy in the first place.
@Sarah Christopher thank you for the info. Just crossing my finger that I'll get lucky. If you have other suggestions if there's other campsites in the area that would be great
