How deep is the river?

It was deep enough for cargo ships to come up River to the Port of Sacramento. The ships we're loaded with rice or grain or wood chips.

It is not one constant depth. There are holes that drop fairly deep. The entire channel rises and falls with the tide.

I don't know for certain but it's deep enough for you to take a boat down the river and fish
