I made mine two months in advance. No issues
Until the day of your reservation i believe.
I made one about 4 months in advance for a festival and had no problem. They only called me day-of because of a flight delay pushing me past my check in time. They just asked if I was still coming.
I made mine over a month in advance and was good. Just make sure you keep your confirmation number
