I've been for small birthday celebrations (mine, yay!) And large celebrations (non-birthdays) and both were great experiences. With the larger group, you can better take advantage of their large plates, like ordering a few of the whole grilled fishes and ribeyes to share. I've heard that for some large parties, depending on how busy the restaurant is, they might split the group into two tables right next to each other. As for special experiences, I can't think of anything in particular. Make sure to order fried bread to soak up the delicious sauces served with the fish!
I've seen large dinner parties but not as birthday celebrations. It's a wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere
