Actually, Marillac helped my daughter immensely. She was only there for 3 days, but they diagnosed her issues, helped her learn to talk about her feelings, and started her on meds that have made a difference in all our lives.
staff kept me up at night from talking in the hallways like we weren’t there, but psychiatrist and doctor and a few singled out staff changed my life around for the better. haven’t experienced any symptoms of depression since marilac.
I been to both marillac & kvc in kick i only been to marillac 1 time I been to kvc multiple times my personal opinion is I choose marillac over kvc & the reason why is bc at kvc the staff are very abusive my room mate was there from the age 3 to 16 & she was always black & blue bc of the staff during there groups if u don't say ur feeling something positive they skip u if u were to say u feel suicidal they'd be like skip her/him at marillac they had music groups they had supportive staff that would try to help u thru ur problems even if they didnt understand they'd still try their best!! That's all that counts as long as some1 actually shows they care & not abuse children from 1-18 yrs of age
I was in kvc in kck when i was young and i had my arm broke in 4 places and the staff where not paying attention and i had to have pins in my arm i really did like marillac it really did help i was put on meds and im on them to this day
