I moved to TN and wondered if there was a place in Tyler TX that maybe you guys came from. If there is then it would be the closest to me and I can bring home some of the sauce too. Last time I had anything from there was in 07' and bought 4 qts.

Dr. Hogly Wogly's Tyler Texas BBQ - All questions

Address: 8136 Sepulveda Blvd, Panorama City, CA 91402, USA

Cassi Smith | Sep 15, 2019

No, there is no other Hogly Wogly’s... The name was given to him as a sort of pet name by his wife. He used to be a delivery boy at the Pigly Wigly’s in Tyler TX. Since he was a large man, she told him that he wasn’t a pigly wigly but a “Hogly Wogly”... that’s how the name came about. I think it’s a cute story. and definitely the BEST BBQ I’ve had in my life!! 💕

You might see if they have a website and ask your question there. This is a question for the owner.

It was the summer of '76. And in oftentimes I would come over Sepulveda as a short - cut to Granada Hills.. I'd get backed up in traffic at Lanark and wonder to myself "what's going on". And there would be this pedestrian line down the block. That told me everything I wanted to know about Hogly Wogly's. I was not disappointed. 3 generations and many friends later; I still recommend Hogly Wogly's above all others!
