In the Mohawk Valley Living Magazine it lists, The Thomas Cole Garden of Eden paintings, photography by Edward Weston, the Thaw collection of American Indian Art and the Hamilton -Burr Letters.
The museum features a large collection of Native American artifacts spanning from southern tribes (Mississippi River region) and all the way through Alaska and British Columbia. This, perhaps, is one of the most famous attributes of this museum (aside from the gorgeous view of Otsego Lake). Other year-round exhibits include letters between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr, as well as a gallery of traditional American art and American landscapes. Every season there are usually new (though temporary) exhibits there, and Summer 2018, they're featuring the works of painter Thomas Cole!
