Sounds like a lie to me.
Just call the company and ask for a fleet manager and give them the truck number and tell them what you saw.
The driver was pretty steady at 72-75 when passing on the right. Later, the signals were used when I was exiting.
Devon, Waller trucks are governed at 65mph. Engine brakes automatically kick in around 69 mph. If the driver was indeed driving 75 then safety will have been notified VIA the onboard tracking system and the truck number, and driver, recorded. Safety will call the driver once they receive the alert (during business hours) and he will be dealt with. Since i was not there I cannot comment on his driving nor use of signals but I will ask this: could you see all of his signal lights or was it just the trailer lights you were seeing (or not seeing, in this case). It may be possible the trailer had a malfunction and the signal circuit was blown or somehow interupted. Waller strives for safety and any concerns are taken seriously. You are welcomed to call during business hours and ask for the safety team (follow the prompts).
Waller trucks are governed @ 65mph. So the truck must have been going down hill!
