Go to customer service with a receipt. Show them a picture of your sod and tell them how often you watered the sod. In good faith, a manager will give you store credit to replace the sod you have with new sod, like an as-is final sale.
Your best bet at this point is to call the company you purchased the sod from and tell them what happened because if anyone could help you it will be them.
I really don't think so you have to water it or have proof of same now I have bought tomato plants at Lowe's that said they were beefsteak and they turned out to be cherry tomatoes but I had to pull them out bring them to the store and show the plants and the receipt and I got a full refund sorry to say I've had to do that more than once🤔
