They do use a computer system to help balance the balloon. They have on occasion asked for people not congregate at the same side of the cage. There is no weight restriction for an individual though.

There is no weight limit per person to the balloon and no computer system other than indicators. It's a very simple system. Helium raises the balloon and it is subject to the blowing winds. If the winds are too strong, they shut it down. I was on it when the wind gusts blew it so that it was grounded until the following day. It's very safe but you can feel vulnerable which makes it exciting!
