Great place to get a cut if you have a pixie cut. They charge by length, not gender, so I am glad to not get stuck with the womens hair upcharge that I usually get despite my lack of hair. Also there is a student discount, which is lovely.

I booked my first haircut here two months ago after concluding the salon I used to go before wasn’t very attentive to what I wanted. I decided this place seemed nice even when their costs were fairly more expensive than my previous salon. I wanted to change my haircut and decided to get a mohawk. I was assigned to Victoria by the booking system and she gave me a nice mohawk which I really liked. A month later, I booked again with Victoria expecting to develop a business relation with a hairdresser who already knows what I want. I incorrectly assumed that since we had already discussed my hairstyle, I wouldn’t have to explain everything again from the start. I noticed this was an incorrect assumption when she started by buzzing the back of my head. She apologized profusely after I pointed out the issue, but the damage was done and I had to revert to the previous style I had already discarded. I tried to come to terms with the fact that everyone makes mistakes but every time I’ve looked at myself in the mirror I do it with disgust because it is exactly the haircut I wanted to not ever get again. Long story short: I paid money for the exact same haircut I did not want to get.

After a helpful consultation earlier this week my hair went from darkbrown to a really nice blonde today :) Amy is a really caring person and right from the start I knew that I was in very good hands. The rest of the crew was also very nice and the atmosphere is absolutely welcoming. I love my new hair! It was the first time ever that I got my hair dyed and Amy made sure that I feel good. The result is amazing and I will definitely go there again.
