I agree with Erin , you should go to the vet for this.
Best to take your cat to a vet, since an eye infection is a medical problem, and medical advice cannot properly be given without an exam by a doctor. Once your pet has been properly diagnosed by a veterinarian, the correct medicine can be recommended. Over the counter medicine is not likely to help, and might cause your pet damage. Hope your cat gets better once the proper medicine has been determined. :)
Definitely go to Vet and get Optometrist type of Medication.
