Yes it.is free with a time limit. As far as I remember the limit is 20 minutes. Nonetheless i would say you're done with your shopping in ten minutes or fifteen, max. I've never seen as many cashiers anywhere else as many as Trader Joe's has. I think they have two dozens, and you'll love their service. It is like a lightning. You're done before you realized it. They have the very best big brown bags too.
