If you want the shade simply ask the ticket person for same. They are very accommodating. I sat 3rd base side for 1:00 game. Lower level last row. 34.00 per ticket.

Yes and no all depends on the time of game and where you want to sit and see the the players play...

If you sit down the baselines or outfield (berm) you'll get sun and will need sun protection! Seating areas around home plate are in the shade.

Also depends on game start time, and to a lesser extent, date due to sun angle. Sun is usually behind 1b line for 1:05 start. Seats in grass berm area are in full sun.
