Absolutely. There are two big docks made for fishing. They have tons of pole holders. There are typically at least a few people fishing there so presumably a good fishing spot.
Yes, you need to see when the tides are. There are snapper and sheepshead hanging around the dock. Since your by the inlet you can catch most anything.
