Someone I know need help; if we convince him to come will he be admitted the first day? He's in a wheelchair with a bad back, are there special areas for for ppl like him? Is it dorms or do they share rooms?

He will not be admitted on the spot you have to call the homeless helpline. There are too many hoops to got through, before you get a bed. You sleep on the floor for a max of 3 nights (they give you a mat) then you have to reapply by calling the help line again and meeting with Task Force. All of the rooms are dorm settings.

You will need a referral from the task force. He may do an overnight but that is about it. Calling 211 is like a lottery for a bed for 3 days.
