The tickets are available online except senior citizens. The tour until they reopen the government is limited to the Saturn rocket and back.
The next few months are the perfect season to come on a whim without pre purchasing anything. The process is simple, buy a ticket and roam the grounds. Everything can be done online, and that allows you to avoid any lines except the turnstiles to get it. The bus tour to the Apollo center is free and other interest tours are different prices, but those separate tours are closed as long as the government is shut down. It is still a pleasant experience without the added tours, I guarantee you, even before you park, that something will catch your eye and draw you in either way.
Yep! Tickets are available there! You can also buy them online from your phone to save a few bucks! Most of it is walkable and there is also a bus tour included that brings you around part of the grounds. Some of it sadly is off limits due to the govt shutdown
