I had my appointment on Wednesday. Actually works pretty smoothly. Not sure what you mean by an added fee tho. There is no fee to make an appointment or is anything added to what you have to pay. The girl I talked to said they are planning on making the appointment setting the new normal. But, it does work really smoothly and you get right in, no waiting for two hours for your number to get called
Did you get an email from them? When I set one up online, I got a confirmation letter the same day and also the day of. Both emails had a link to change the booking. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled. They don't mention anything about an added fee, but put that in the back of your mind. For all we know it may be the new normal permanently, so, I'd endeavour to keep the appointment.
