Can someone deposit a check to your account for you to your Capital One account here? I have a check that needs to be sent but I figured they may just be able to deposit it in my account since I live out of state from the sendee.

They can send money to your account thru their personal bank. Have them go to their bank and give your bank info to send $. If they do not have a bank account have them pay western union

Not sure I'm understanding but I think the answer is no. You can deposit checks through the ATM to your own account, but someone else could not deposit into your account. (Unless you gave them your card and pin.) There are no tellers or anyone else who can help with something like that. Probably easier for the person to do an electronic funds transfer or venmo the money to you.
