Motel vouchers, unlike common belief, are not generally available for people experiencing homeless here in Monterey County. Project Roomkey has been operating for a year now and is winding down, and the pandemic is starting to wind down as well due to people becoming vaccinated. We’re not sure where you’re located right now, but if you can either call Dorothy’s Place, or visit us at 30 Solidad St. in Salinas, we would be happy to speak with you about the opportunities that you have to access better safety here locally, and to achieve long-term safety.
